Hola, fellow world travelers and world traveler followers! I’m Josie González (aka One of the Three Cali girls RoCaPho have mentioned) and I’ve been a world traveler since I first started earning and saving my paychecks. My initial goal was to reach at least 50 countries before I turned 50. Then, I modified that to a more spiritual (and realistic!) goal—to visit as many Bethel addresses that appeared on the last page of my Bible. But slowly many of those addresses were no longer open to the public. So, my goal then was, let’s just see how many interesting brothers and sisters I can encounter no matter where I go. And that’s how I came across Bethel Coach Tours (BCT) in 2004-the London, Paris, and Rome trip. That was the first time I crossed the Atlantic, by myself…and a Bethelite couple, and 9 other sisters from various regions of the US.
Eight years later I find myself travelling almost compulsively, especially to Ecuador since 2009 with the lovely and adventurous owners of BCT, Rocky and Camila. And once in awhile—when they (but really me) have money—my younger sisters will come along, Diana and Jessica, the two remaining Cali girls. Our latest adventure will be to Panama and of course, Ecuador. Can’t wait for you all to trace our Central to South American exotic eating, drinking, speaking, singing?, dancing?, sailing, chillin’, picture framing experience. For now…it’s planning and packing!
¡Hasta pronto!
